Euthanasia at Home

Compassionate In-Home Pet Euthanasia

Gentle end-of-life care for beloved pets in the comfort, peace, and familiarity of home.

Saying goodbye to a beloved pet is one of the most difficult decisions a family can face. My goal is to provide a peaceful, compassionate, and unhurried experience, allowing your pet to remain surrounded by love in the place they feel safest — home.

I understand how heartbreaking this time can be, and I am here to guide and support you through every step with kindness, respect, and care.

Serving families throughout Southwest Florida, from Osprey to Punta Gorda.

I commonly serve surrounding communities including Englewood, Rotonda West, Placida, Boca Grande, Venice, North Port, and Port Charlotte.

My home base is the Gulf Cove area of Port Charlotte, and travel fees may apply based on distance.

A Gentle Goodbye at Home

Choosing in-home euthanasia allows pets to remain in a familiar, comfortable environment surrounded by the people who love them most.

Rather than the stress of a car ride or veterinary clinic visit, many families find peace in saying goodbye at home — in a favorite bed, on the couch, outside in the sunshine, or simply in the comfort of familiar surroundings.

Every appointment is approached with compassion, patience, and respect for both pets and the people who love them.

Dr. Christy Baran

Compassionate veterinary care has always been at the heart of what I do.

As a mobile veterinarian, I have had the privilege of helping families care for beloved pets in the comfort of home for many years. I understand the deep bond we share with our animals and the heartbreak that comes with saying goodbye.

My goal is to provide a peaceful, loving, and deeply compassionate experience for both pets and their families during one of life’s most difficult moments.

How Do I Know When It’s Time?

One of the most difficult questions pet parents face is knowing when it may be time to say goodbye.

If you are struggling with this decision, you are not alone.

Factors such as pain, mobility, appetite, breathing, anxiety, comfort, and overall quality of life can help guide the conversation.

Support and guidance are available if you are uncertain.
